Hi Friends! Welcome to The Unfolding Co. Blog!

I'm so thankful you wound up here and I pray that whatever you find here is a blessing and encouragement to you! I am launching The Unfolding Co. site for the first time so I thought what better way to start off the blog posts than just simply welcoming you here and introducing this space to you! Whether you found us on Facebook, Instagram, or the podcast, I want you to know what we are!

The Unfolding Co. is essentially an online ministry for women that I felt called to start. It began simply as a way to light up Instagram and point to Jesus in that space and had lead to this site! The Unfolding Co. is not just a place where you can read articles about faith topics or listen to a podcast, it is also a community where you can meet new women of likeminded faith and grow together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. I am praying that it turns into a prayer corner, where I can personally intercede in prayer for you, as well as the other women here in this community. Women play an important role in building the Kingdom of Heaven and I pray that we can all work together to further Gospel. Whether that is by inviting people into this space or simply by serving your immediate family faithfully.

How it Started

You may be wondering how exactly we got started here!

In the beginning of 2022, I felt the need to take a break from social media. He was quietly teaching me that I continually put that before anything else in my life, that I was striving for something, and that something was incredibly selfish. I loved posting on social media and creating in that way, but I was just weary of posting all about me. I realized that I should be pointing to Christ in all I do and I absolutely was not doing that during that time. The world is such a dark place, and social media is a space in which we saturate our minds with the things of the world. It isn't inherently wrong, but in my life personally it was taking a toll on my Spiritual walk. I decided to start The Unfolding Co. just as an Instagram page originally so that whoever came across the page would see Jesus and there would be that much more light online. Not long after, I decided to start a podcast for The Unfolding Co. and was really enjoying it. I realized I needed a one stop shop for all the things and decided to create this page over the summer! The page will morph and improve and things will be added, including a shop, and I'm very excited about where the Lord is going to take this space.

In my personal Instagram experience I got really caught up with numbers, foolishly. When it comes to this space, God is continually reminding me that even if one single person is encouraged or decided to pursue Christ than I've done what He's asked. If that one person is you, know that I love you and I am praying for your walk with Jesus!

Our Mission

In a phrase, our mission here at the Unfolding Co. is to unfold the truth of God's word together to know Him more. In this space/ministry/community, the goal is to lift one another up, to teach, to encourage women to seek the Lord, to pray over needs, and turn the world's eyes from us to Jesus.

This will be done through bi-weekly podcasts and blog posts covering a myriad of topics and concerns that women of all ages face in life. Including: marriage, motherhood, depression, prayer, home life, work life, literally anything you can think of! This will also be done through providing different resource like devotionals, guides, memory cards, and more. I pray that in the end, whatever we do, we provide the light of Jesus in a dark space.
